Berghold, who holds a PhD in chemistry, will in future co-manage projects for the international company
Kallinchen, 21 December 2021. Dr. Juliane Berghold has been the new Vice President for Project Management at Energiequelle GmbH since 1 December. Together with Gregor Weber, she is responsible for the entire project business of the company headquartered in Kallinchen, Brandenburg. Its team includes over 70 employees in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania for the wind, photovoltaic and power grid sectors.
Dr. Berghold has been firmly rooted in renewable energies for more than 20 years and has specialised in the topic of photovoltaics in her professional career. She has more than 15 years of management experience, most recently as CEO of a technology transfer company in the international business environment.
The 50-year-old Berliner has received a warm welcome: “In my first few days, I got to know Energiequelle as a professional, ambitious and at the same time friendly company with a personal touch. I am very much looking forward to my new role and the opportunity to actively help shape the energy transition again.”
She supports Energiequelle’s ambitious goals. The business is to be expanded to four additional target countries by 2025. She is highly motivated to find a good balance between the company’s regional roots and its planned international course.
To date, the company has installed over 750 plants, with a total capacity of more than 1.4 GW worldwide. The company plans to hire more than 50 new employees in 2022.
