90 MW of wind and solar projects were connected to the grid
Kallinchen, 27 April 2022. Energiequelle GmbH can look back on a successful year. The company, which has been operating in renewable energies since 1997, has a turnover of just under 160 million euros. This means that turnover has doubled compared to the previous year. This is the result of the construction of 20 wind turbines and three solar farms. The total output of the farm is 90 MW. In addition, two substations with 120 MW transmission capacity were completed. The expected annual electricity production amounts to 227 million kilowatt hours and the supply of approx. 76,000 households.
The number of managed plants has also increased. This means that not only the projects implemented last year were transferred to Energiequelle’s management, but also 11 wind farms with 86 plants and two solar farms with a total of almost 130 MW. As a result, the company now manages more than 1,500 MW of output.
Filled order books and the recruitment of over 70 employees
Energiequelle plans to commission 30 wind plants, one solar farm and two substations in Germany, France and Finland with a total output of over 133 MW in 2022. The company also expects permits of more than 280 MW. To meet the challenges ahead, more than 70 new employees are to be hired this year. Michael Raschemann, owner of Energiequelle GmbH, says: “I am very proud of the team and the success we have achieved together. After the social distance of the coronavirus years, I was particularly pleased about our joint summer party last year, where we came together as a team again. I am very much looking forward to the many exciting projects this year and to working with our colleagues.”
The company employs over 350 people at 18 locations and has installed more than 750 plants throughout Europe.
