Five Enercon E-82 wind turbine generators added to the portfolio of the European fund manager
Kallinchen/France, July 2020. The Senonnes wind farm, developed and built by Energiequelle’s French subsidiary P&T Technologie SAS in the Pays de la Loire region, was successfully sold to Encavis Infrastructure Fund II (EIF II) managed by Encavis Asset Management AG (Encavis AM). With a total output of 11.5 MW, five E-82 turbines provide renewable electricity in northwestern France. The park was commissioned in May of last year.
Encavis Asset Management AG offers institutional investors tailor-made portfolios and fund solutions for investments in the renewable energies sector. The present wind farm is to be included in the portfolio of the special fund Encavis Infrastructure Fund II (EIF II), which is exclusively distributed by BayernLB. “With this high-yield location, Senonnes increases the EIF II portfolio to 232 MW in total,” explains Karsten Mieth, Chairman of the Encavis Asset Management AG Board.
“We had already had positive experiences with Encavis relating to the Trebbin and Schönefeld projects. That’s why we look forward to collaborating closely again on other projects,” says Maik Pytzka, Head of Sales at Energiequelle GmbH. A further project, also in France, is already in the negotiation phase with the same partner.
