Five Nordex plants with a total output of 15 MW go to EKZ Renewables AG
Villers-le-Tourneur/France, 16 December 2021. At the end of October, Energiequelle sold the French wind farm Villers-le-Tourneur to EKZ Renewables AG. The wind farm is located in the Grand-Est region near the Belgian border and comprises five Nordex N-117 turbines, each with a hub height of 90 m and a total output of 15 MW.
Energiequelle acquired the project together with its French subsidiary P&T Technologie and then further planned, developed and built it. In the summer of last year, the systems were successfully put into operation and have since supplied around 10,000 households with electricity.
Swiss-based EKZ will receive a feed-in tariff from the French state for 20 years. Marc Degen, Senior Project Manager, is pleased with the completion of the purchase: “Villers-le-Tourneur is already our sixth wind farm in France and is increasing our portfolio from 38 to a total of 43 turbines and an installed capacity of 95 MW.”
Energiequelle has sold three wind and solar farms in France this year, and two further transactions for a total of 27 MW are scheduled for 2022.
