Construction of up to 39 wind energy turbines possible.
Helsinki/Kallinchen, September 2019. In addition to its existing Finnish project pipeline, which already comprises several hundred megawatts, the international project developer Energiequelle has acquired the project rights for three wind power projects. The projects Mikonkeidas, Korvenneva and Lumivaara are located in the regions of Ostrobothnia, South Ostrobothnia, Satakunta and Kainuu. Once finalized, the projects will enable the construction of up to 39 wind energy turbines of the newest generation.
The development of the wind power projects has been started by Otsotuuli Oy and the projects were transferred to Energiequelle in August 2019.
“These projects, which all have very good wind conditions and are located in areas with further wind energy development, represent a very good addition to our Finnish project pipeline”, says Nils Borstelmann, Country Manager of Energiequelle Finland. During the upcoming months, the Energiequelle team will finalize the project development and is planning to implement these projects from 2022 onwards.
