36,000 modules with a total output of 14.7 MWp have been built in Decize
Decize/France, 16 July 2021. The first solar project of the French Energiequelle subsidiary P&T Technologie is in operation. The park was built in cooperation with EREA Ingenierie in Decize, central France. Around 36,000 modules with 405 Wp from the Chinese manufacturer Talesun were installed on 15.6 hectares. With a total output of 14.7 MWp, this will supply 6,750 two-person households per year in the future.
The construction work from the access road to the transfer station was carried out by the French group Bouygues SA. The construction management was carried out by P&T Technologie.
The project was successfully awarded a grant two years ago and construction began in January this year. The electricity produced will be remunerated at 5.15 cents per kWh, which has been secured for 20 years. The forecast annual yield is approx. 16.2 million kWh.
Uta Kanira, Project Manager at Energiequelle, is proud of the project: “With the implementation of Decize, we have successfully relied on proven and experienced partnerships. Thus, in close cooperation, we were also able to deal with the logistical challenges of transporting the modules overseas and to stay on schedule. With the experience gained from this successful implementation, we can now move on to the following projects. However, the first one is and remains special for everyone involved.”
In the last few years, Energiequelle has implemented 33 photovoltaics plants in Germany, Spain and Italy. The company currently manages 22 plants.
